Our mission

Law & Order reports the work of India’s courts for the people who appear in them, advise on them, and are affected by them. We cover the Supreme Court, the High Courts, tribunals and the regulators whose decisions shape practice.

Editorial independence

Our newsroom is independent of the firms, chambers and companies we report on. We do not accept advertising that is conditional on coverage, and sponsored material is labelled as such.

The newsroom is staffed by reporters and editors with legal training, supported by contributing practitioners and academics.
